Part 1-Revealing Plans
Raw has started with a bang, pyrotechnics going off by the stage being shown by the camera's excities the fans and brings them to their feet standing and shouting. The cameras went through the crowd finding different fans with different signs keeping the crowd electric. Finally the cameras went to the stage.Just before Raw went on the air JR was introduced first getting a really big pop from the crowd. King came out next to a slightly lower pop than JR but a big pop none the less. The cameras pan around the crowd again showing the fans screaming. The camera keeps panning around before locking onto JR and King. JR is neatly stacking papers as the King is sporting a smile at the camera.
JR
A couple weeks have passed since Summerslam and the atmosphere in the Raw locker room has if any thing grown more dense. With the next ppv coming just around the horizon every one is bying for their spots to get title shots. JD Maverick who returned at Summerslam was successful in his first match which was for the Intercontinental title. JD Maverick was absent from last week claiming to Coach that he needed the week off. Tonight here on Raw we are supposed to hear from the new Intercontinental champion in what will be his first interview here on WWER Raw since he left due to his ingury. We understand that That JD Maverick has some thing very important he wants to say and that it's going to impact the entire Raw roster.
King
Let me tell you JR, I thought when Randy Orton wasn't talking with management that we were rid of all of the egotistical people with belts around here. But I was wrong. Management threw in a monkey wrench at Summerslam putting a returning JD Maveick who no one had heard from since his injury into this match and dominated. As a result now we have another if not more egotistical champion than before. Let me tell you JR this guy is not shy by any means. He doesn't think he is hot, to him he knows he's hot and with all the women in the crowd shouting for him it's hard to dispute him. But you can't knock the guy because he knows how to back up what he says. I'm interested to see what he has to say that is supposed to shake up the roster.
About the time that King was done speaking Move came over the loud speakers by Thousand Foot Krutch. The fans now knowing who the music belongs to let out a momentous amount of boos in the direction of the ramp where JD Maverick who is dressed in designer blue jeans, expensive white tennis shoes,a white designer dress shirt, and special made white sunglasses with a star inside the lenses was standing. JD had the Intercontinental title across his shoulder and looked at both sides of the crowd with a smirk on his face before descending down the ramp in a slow walk. Girls near the guard rail try and grab onto JD's shirt but he snatches it away nonchalantly and keeps walking toward the ring. JD slowly climbs the steps and enters the ring where he poses for each side of the crowd before grabbing a microphone from Lillian. JD walks to the center of the ring to speak but waits for the fans to settle down before raising the microphone.
JD Maverick
Let's talk about what happened about Summerslam first shall we. Going into Summerslam everyone was wondering who would win the Intercontinental championship, Randy Orton or Angelina Love? What no one expected was the return of JD Maverick to the ring, let alone into a title match. I was in contact with WWER the week before Summerslam and upper management and I came to an agreement on how I should return. As you can tell by the title that I have on my shoulder I was successful in my return, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I mean I am the greatest new generation superstar in the WWER. Now I told every one that tonight I was going to make an announcement that would shake up the WWER roster. And I know you have to be wondering what could I be talking about.
The crowd is almost utter silence with a slight boos through out the arena. JD Maverick did have a point in that every one was wondering what it was that he has to say that would shake the entire Raw roster. The crowd is on their feet in anticipation of what JD Maverick is about to say. JD moves around the ring slowly walking adjusting the title on his shoulder so that it doesn't slip. A minute or so passes as JD looks out over the crowd making them wait until he is ready to speak. Finally JD settles back in the middle of the ring and raises his microphone.
JD Maverick
I have always said that gold looks best on me. The statement couldn't be more true as you see this Intercontinental title on my shoulder here. And here in the WWER there is always an opportunity to gain more gold than to just settle with what you have. After my match last night I settled down in my private locker room and watched the Tag title match and was less than impressed by any and all the participants. So if you morons can't guess what is going through my mind yet let me explain it to you. The Tag titles is in inferior hands. In fact it's in the hands of idiots. Why no one seems to be able to beat them is just beyond me. So Coach, I have a proposal for you, if you like ratings, then I'll give you ratings, put me and a partner of my choosing in a tag title match. It's a win, win situation for all, you get your ratings, and a partner and I get titles.
The crowd doesn't like JD Maverick but the idea even to them was appealing and that sent out cheers around the crowd. JD Maverick lowered the microphone knowing it would be no use to try and speak over the crowd right now and just looked around as they continued shouting boos through the crowd. JD Maverick had a sick smile on his face as he knew that wasn't all he had to say. The fans didn't show signs of shutting up so JD just walked over to turnbuckle and made a hammock of it and laid down. This caused the booing to grow louder for a few moments because of the disrespect he was showing. The fans finally started to calm down and JD returned to the middle of the ring.
JD Maverick
It took you idiots long enough to shut your mouths. Let me put it this way, the longer you run your mouths the longer I'm going to be out here. Now I know that entices you ladies to want to scream more but you do have to understand that I have better things to do with my time then be out here around all of you. Now like I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, since I want a shot at the titles that means that I will need a partner. Now the one thing that Raw is short of is top shelf talent. There aren't many who can even come close to my talent, but this week on Raw I will be on the look out for who I want to be my partner. So that should give every one in the back initiative to do their best and so much more to impress me this week. I already have a few people in mind. Oh, and don't think I'm going to tell you people at any certain time. I am going to tell you when I get good and ready to tell you. So all I can say is be on the look out because you never know who or what will happen when JD Maverick is on Raw.
JR
King I can't believe what I just heard from JD Maverick. If management accepts this do you know the implacations this could have? When JD Maverick said he had an announcement that would shake the Raw roster I wasn't sure if he was telling the truth but after hearing what he said I believe him now. Wow! vs JD Maverick and a partner of his choosing in a Tag title match. If this takes place it could change the fabric of Raw.The balance of power would slowly begin to shift. I must admit I do like the idea my self.. Though I do believe that JD Maverick may be under estimating the Tag champions and could be in for a surprise if he doesn't take the match seriously.
King
I agree JR, wow what an announcement by JD Maverick. Though it does go to show you though what I was talking about earlier about his ego. He thinks if he goes into the match it's going to be a cake walk and he is going to come out of it with the Intercontinental title and the Tag title around his waist. This is not to say that he won't win but I do believe he has more of a challenge then he expects and when he gets in the ring with the tag champs he'll find that out for himself. It's going to be interesting to see if the tag champs and management goes with this, but with this crowd reaction I wouldn't see why they wouldn't. The potential with these guys in the ring is great and I think the fans would love to see JD Maverick get what's coming to him and that is an ass whooping and not only would he lose his pride but maybe it would shut his mouth.
As JR and King are talking JD poses for the girls in the crowd before he drops the microphone to the ground and leaves the ring JD continues his walk slowly up the the ramp as the fans are cheering loudly behind JR and King throwing up peace signs and posing for the camera before it spans out and flows through the roaring crowd. The camera glides through the countless number of fans showing off signs and doing crazy things for the camera. before settling on the the titan tron which is showing a recap of last weeks matches and goes to a commercial break.
Part 2-Back Stage
The cameras are back stage as they are following Randy Orton down the hallway in the back of the arena. It shouldn't be a surprise to any where as to where Randy Orton will be going after finding out that he will be teaming with JD Maverick this week to against Edge and Maryse. You can slightly hear the crowd out in the arena giving their opinion of Randy Orton who has finally made it to the locker room of JD Maverick. Instead of knocking Randy Orton barges in on JD Maverick who was on his cell phone. JD took a look at Orton and hung up the phone to walk up to Orton and look him in the eyes. The two stay in a stare off for a few moments neither of them showing any sign of moving. Randy finally gets one of his evil smiles on his face and backs off of JD Maverick.
Randy Orton
I guess you already know by now that you and I have to team up this week. And our opponents are going to be Edge and Maryse. Let me get this straight before we say any thing else, I don't like you and you don't like me. The only reason they are making us team together is our mutural hate for Edge and Maryse. That is the only reason I'm not going to punt your skull in right now and take my title back.I don't trust you as far as I can throw you and I don't want to have to look behind my back the entire match so I propose a truce for the duration of this match. And after we get done with Edge and Maryse this little truce will be over and I will take my title back and your career along with it.
JD Maverick
Randy, Randy, Randy, you came in my locker room and interupted an important phone call with a movie director to just to tell me that you want to punt me in my head and take my title but not before we have a truce and destroy Edge and Maryse. You could have just saved your breath and me the time of having to look at you because I already knew what you were thinking. I do agree with the truce, we do have a common enemy and I think that it's a good thing to get rid of them. But as for you punting me in my head, it's best that you remember who I won this title from. I beat you and Angelina Love in a three way match to win this title. But I tell you what Orton, if we can make it through this match I'll give you a rematch, but that is only because I want to show you that I can beat you any time I want.
The animostity in the room was growing bigger and bigger. You could cut the tension with a knife. Randy stood facing JD face to face. Randy was making his normal farcical expressions toward JD who took the facial expressions with a smile on his face. You could see the veins in Randy's forehead beginning to bulge out and his fist were clenched tight by his side like he was ready to strike. JD stood tall and never moved and didn't let Randy's expression make him get tense. JD stayed his normal happy go lucky self. It was looking like it would be a long time before either would budge in this contest. Randy finally unclenched his fist, rubbed one hand over his forehead and took a step back from JD.
Randy Orton
You think you can beat me any time you want. You think that you are better than me. I don't know who dropped you on your head as a kid but I am a third generation superstar. I am the best in the business. I am a legend killer. I end careers. And there is nothing any one can do about it. Just like I'm going to punt Maryse, and end her career tonight, that is what I'm going to do to you when I get a shot at my title. And when I finally get my hands on you I will make sure that I do every thing I can to permanently end your career. When I get done with you, you won't have to worry about girls screaming for you, they won't recognize you after I leave you in a pool of your own blood.
JD Maverick
Let me just stop you right there Randy. I don't need to know what you think you are. The only thing I know you are is a loser. You can try all you want to end my career Orton, but the fact is you will never be better than me. You call your self the best in the business, the legend killer, but I'm the best new generation superstar. I am the future of this business and this title sitting right here proves just that. Oh and it helps that all the ladies can't keep their eyes and their hands off of me. As for the guys, and I'm sure this includes you, they just want to be me. And after I rid Edge and Maryse from my life and you, I will win the tag team titles and continue my dominance of Raw. So why don't you get out of my locker room because I have more important things to attend to.
The two had one more stand off between each other. Randy stood again with his fist clenched ready to strike out at JD Maverick with what was just said but with the treaty in place he thought better of it. Randy took a few breaths and calmed down. Randy walked backwards slowly never taking his eyes off JD. JD Maverick stood still with the same smile on his face watching as Randy made his way out of his locker room. JD went back to his phone and dialed the numbers to previous number and went back to his phone call. The screen faded to black as you could here some one in the back ground of the phone. Leaving every one wondering if it could be JD's mystery partner that he was talking about earlier in the night.
Part 3- Interview
As Raw returns from a commercial break we can see fans all around the arena on the feet screaming at the top of their lungs enjoying the show. Afterward we see the camera go to JR and King at ring side who tell every one at home that Josh Mathews is standing back stage awaiting the arrival of JD Maverick to talk about his match and to see if he can get any info on who JD Maverick wants as his tag team partner. The camera goes to the back stage area o the arena where Josh Mathews is standing in a grey suit, white under shirt, and a gray tie. Josh has a huge smile on his face and a microphone in his hands as he gets ready to speak to the WWER Universe. As Josh turns to his left we can see JD Maverick walk up to Josh wearing a expensive white t-shirt, designer blue jeans, and white sunglasses with stars imprinted in the lenses, with the Intercontinental championship on his shoulder.
Josh Mathews
Thank you JR, King, I'm here with JD Maverick, who is the new Intercontinental champion. JD, you won the championship at Summerslam in a three way match against Randy Orton and Angelina Love. No one expected you in this match and it came as a surprise to every one in the WWER universe, and an even bigger surprise when you won the match. The same night Maryse won a battle royal to earn an opportunity at a future shot at your Intercontinental title. When you returned to Raw last week you put out an open challenge to any one in the back which up set Maryse and in turn her boy friend Edge when you made some disparaging comments about how women shouldn't wrestle men. This week Coach has set up a match with you and Randy Orton against Edge and Maryse in a tag team match. What are your feelings going into this match?
JD Maverick
You want to know my feelings on this match? I feel like I'm being put in a match where any one has a chance to attack me. Though I'm only really worried about two people in this match, that being Randy Orton and Edge. You see I stand by what I said in the ring about Maryse. If she wants to get in the ring with the men then she is just going to end up hurt. We all saw what Randy Orton is willing to do to her and I'm pretty sure he is willing to do it again but this time making sure that Maryse doesn't return for a second time. Maryse for your own well being, I'm telling you to stay out of this match an on the ring apron because I don't want to hurt you, but I will if you get in my way. I will not lose for any one at any time.As for Edge, he has some thing to prove, if he could manage to some how win this match, which he won't, then he could impress management and receive a future shot at my title.
Josh Mathews
Well that is one equation for this match. But obviously there is another equation and that is Randy Orton. Do you think that you and Randy Orton can cooperate for long enough to win a match? You and Randy have a rocky past with you beating Randy Orton for the title. But at the same time right now you both have a common enemy in Edge and Maryse. Do you think that you will be able to trust Randy Orton with the treaty that he promised earlier or do you think that you will still have to be looking over your back for the entire match to see if Randy is going to turn on you and try to punt you in the head?
JD Maverick
Well it seems obvious to me Josh. When Randy came into my locker room proposing a treaty until the end of this match I didn't trust him as far as I could throw him and I still don't. But that doesn't matter, the fact is that I have a match with him against Edge and Maryse and I hate losing. Randy I know will do any thing to win, but at the same time will do what is best to benefit his career. So lets just say that I will have eyes in the back of my head during this match. You see I don't get much out of this match other than proving that Maryse doesn't deserve to be in the ring with me at any point in time. Other than that fact I might as well be in a three way match. But Randy knows if he tries to lay a hand on me he will have his hands full. And as for Edge and Maryse they will lose, because I don't.
Josh Mathews
Ok, well there is one more thing that is on every ones minds. At the beginning of Raw tonight you came out and made an announcement that you will be looking for a tag team partner to try and take the tag team titles. So my question for you is simple, have you figured out who you want to be your tag team partner? And if so who is it? And if you haven't figured out who you want to be your partner then how do you plan on finding that person? It's on the minds of all the WWER universe, and every one in the back has rumors spreading about who it could be.
JD Maverick
You know Josh, that is a good question. I have been hearing all the rumors in the back, and I know what most people are thinking. The only thing I'm going tell all of you is that when you find out it will be some one you will never have thought of. So other than that Josh, what in your right mind made you think that I was going to answer this question . Just like I said earlier, you and every one else will find out when I want them to know. And what I want you to know and every one else to know is that moment is to keep their eyes open because you never know what could happen when JD Maverick is on Raw. You see what makes me so good is being unpredictable. I do things the way I want to do to them, not the way people think I will, or want me to. So to finish this interview up I just have one thing left to say, to all the ladies I know you love me, to all the guys I know you want to be me, but the truest thing is gold looks best on me. And when I'm threw I will have all the gold around me.
