Teddy Hart 09-04-2013
As September is beginning and fall, the wedding of Teddy Hart and Kristen Mellissa is drawing closer. For months, the couple had been at ends with each other on the plans. There had been arguments that threatened to end the wedding and the relationship. Finally, though, after a trip back home for Kristen Mellissa, Teddy began to realize what he had known but started to forget, that he loved Kristen and should be doing anything and everything to make her happy. With the new mindset, Teddy and Kristen were able to go through the wedding plans at a faster and easier pace allowing them not only to catch up but get ahead of schedule. Now with the final little things finished the couple were able to sit back and relax, well sort of, they still had a big match to prepare for, but that seemed small potatoes to planning this wedding.
Teddy and Kristen were out on the town in Miami, Fl doing some shopping and enjoying the sunny day outside. The two had stopped at a little local diner that looked delicious. They took their seats out a table outside to enjoy the weather and after ordering drinks were finally able to sit back and look at one another with smiles on their faces. Teddy reached across the table and took Kristen’s hand in his.
Teddy Hart: I can’t believe we are finally here. All the wedding plans are done and in place. Now all we have to do is send out the invitations and we are all set. I know I have said it a million times but it never hurts to repeat it, I’m sorry that I wasn’t as on board with the wedding plans at first as I should have been. I’m also sorry it took you leaving for me to realize that. You don’t have to worry about that ever happening again though.
Kristen Mellissa: Oh, I’m sure something is going to happen again. If I have to live with you for the rest of my life and you have to live with me for the rest of your life, you know as well as I do that we are going to have our fights. We are both heard-headed and want our way. The difference is, if you make me mad, you will be sleeping in one of the other rooms of the house instead of sleeping in the bed with me.
Teddy Hart: Hahaha! I guess that is true. It’s almost impossible for you and I not to have a fight every once in a while. The only good thing that comes from those fights though is the make-up sex.
Kristen Mellissa: Teddy Hart! We are out in public!
Teddy Hart: I would say that I’m sorry, but you and I both know that I’m not. Look at this day though. It’s how I’m feeling right now. I know it sounds cheesy but it’s true. I’m lucky to have to you have you and I just wanted to let you know that.
Kristen Mellissa: I know you are lucky to have me. You just keep that in mind the next time you want to say or do something stupid and we will be all right.
Kristen was hoping this meant that he would waiver from the thought of asking about her brother again. So far she had been artfully dodging the subject of her brother when it came to deciding about inviting him to the wedding. She still hadn’t made up her mind. She was beginning to wonder though if she was wanting to avoid the subject so she wouldn’t have to make a decision herself. If the time came and she couldn’t invite him because it was too late then she wouldn’t have to make the decision and just blame it on the timing.
That reminded her that she still needed to talk with Dolph about what was going on. She didn’t figure him to be the type to go and tell Teddy what they were talking about, but how else would Teddy have known about her brother. He wouldn’t have just brought that up without someone mentioning it and Dolph was the only one who knew about it. He was going to have some Hell to pay the next time they met.
Kristen had been so out of it that she hadn’t noticed that waiter had come back around to take their orders. Teddy ordered his food first then Kristen ordered hers and the waiter was off again. She looked to notice Teddy staring at her. She realized then that she must have been out of it and he noticed that she was off in no-man’s land thinking about something.
Teddy Hart: Are you okay over there? You look like you were in some deep thought. I didn’t want to disturb you.
Kristen Mellissa: Yeah, I’m okay. Just something that had crossed my mind that I had almost forgot about. Don’t worry though. It’s not about the wedding. I just remembered I need to talk with someone about something. I’ll take care of it sooner or later. Today though, I just want to enjoy this day, just the two of us.
Teddy Hart: I’m glad to hear you say that. It was such as waste to this beautiful day to do anything otherwise. After this maybe we should head back to the hotel and see if Dolph and his girlfriend would like to join us, and we could all go down to the pool and have some fun. Now that I’m thinking about it, maybe Chris and Nattie would like to join us as well. I’m so glad she joined Smackdown! Maybe now you can have another girl to talk with.
Kristen smiled lightly at the comment from Teddy. She was looking at him for a moment and realized she was close to going back into deep thought. She shook it off mentally and noticed that he was smiling at her but not with judgment, just because he wanted to smile because he was with her.
Kristen Mellissa: Yeah, maybe. Nattie and I seem to get along. It’ll be good to have someone we can trust on Smackdown as well. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty if I have to, but I’d really rather not have to get in the ring. As for getting everyone together, I think it’d be better just you and me at the pool for some alone time. Don’t you think?
Teddy Hart: I think some alone time with you is something I could enjoy a lot. I won’t even dispute you like I’d normally do. Just think, in a few weeks it’s going to be you and me together forever.
Kristen did think about that and it was something she could think about because the food had arrived and they ate in silence. If it would have been a year ago the thought would have scared her, or at least bothered her, thinking that the two of them would be married. Now, something had changed between Teddy and herself, they had grown so much together and she knew that they would make it. There were still many things standing between the two but she knew that Teddy would go through anything to be with her, and she would fight anyone or anything to be with him.
Soon enough the day was coming, and for the first time she felt excited about the wedding. She was finally able to enjoy the thought of getting married and that alone brought a smile to her face. It didn’t seem like the day would get here when they were having their problems, but being able to last through it all had taught her that Teddy really did want this commitment to her and she knew she wanted it too now. Who knew what road was ahead of them, there are going to be some bumps and roadblocks for sure, but there was nothing they couldn’t handle, as long as they handled it together just the two them.
