Teddy Hart 08-14-2013

It was late at night and Teddy was still awake laying in his bed next to Kristen. She had fallen asleep a few hours before but he couldn’t manage to fall asleep with all the thoughts in his head. He was leaning back against the backboard of the bed careful not to make any heavy movements that would wake her up. He looked over at Kristen, the girl who had fallen in love with almost instantly. She was not your average girl you could find anywhere and that he knew for sure. It was why he wanted to marry her. She made him a different man than he was before, a better man. He closed his eyes and tried to clear his thoughts. His muscles relaxed in his body slightly. The covers only came up to his waist so he was sitting there half-naked. To him it felt good as he loved the cooler temperature of the room. No matter what he tried to do though, every time he closed his eyes his memories went back to that conversation. ”DOLPH’S BABE” – CHRISTY MCDONALD. A few weeks ago I was at Nick’s and the phone rang. He just let it go to the voicemail and the message played out loud and it was Kristen. She was thanking him for talking to her about something and he told me later that they had a private conversation about her brother. ”CANADIAN HART THROB” – TEDDY HART. What about her brother? She never talks about him. ”DOLPH’S BABE” – CHRISTY MCDONALD. I don’t know all of the details but it was something to do with whether she should invite him to the wedding or not or something like that. ”CANADIAN HART THROB” – TEDDY HART. That’s really weird, I wonder why she wouldn’t talk to me about it? ”DOLPH’S BABE” – CHRISTY MCDONALD. Look I don’t want to cause any trouble between you and Kristen, I just thought that you should know. ”CANADIAN HART THROB” – TEDDY HART. No I didn’t think that at all, I appreciate you telling me. After the lunch Teddy and Kristen had with Dolph and his girlfriend he wasn’t sure about a few things. The first of which was why wouldn’t Kristen come to him about her brother. He has had one of those rocky past with family and he knows what he would say to her about it. That is if she would give him half the chance to. He could understand on one hand though how that isn’t really so bad that she didn’t come to him, but a little annoying. The main part about the conversation however is whom she went to too talk about it with. Why would she go to Nick to talk about something like that. If it would have been her mother, or any other family member it would have been easier to accept. Those two had been getting along really well ever since they moved brands over to Smackdown! Kristen wouldn’t be cheating on him with Nick would she? Nick wouldn’t do that to me? He is one of my best friends inside and outside of the ring. That’s not even to mention that he is supposed to be dating Christy. He wouldn’t do that to her would he? I mean he has been known to be a sort of player when it comes to girls, but when I saw them the other day it really looked like he was in love with her. Maybe I am just reading way too much into this. How do I bring it up to Kristen though without making it sound bad? I don’t want Christy to get hurt either considering she thought she was doing the right thing in all of this. He looked over at the alarm clock sitting on the end table by his side of bed and noticed that it was getting late into the night and if he didn’t get any sleep soon tomorrow wouldn’t be a good day at all considering they were supposed to do some heavy training. He carefully worked his way down to a laying position and put his arm around Kristen who slightly moved when he put his arm around her but only grabbed his hand for a moment as it slipped back down by her side. He couldn’t help but smile and closed his eyes and tried to sleep once more. Next Morning At some point Teddy had fallen asleep and not realized that he had so when he woke up it was almost a shock to him. He opened his eyes and noticed that Kristen wasn’t in the bed beside him anymore. It wasn’t long before the smell of something good filled his nose. He stretched out then swung himself over the best to a sitting position. He didn’t bother putting on a t-shirt or other clothes knowing he would need a shower. He walked down the stairs and saw Kristen standing in the kitchen wearing nothing but an old t-shirt of his, something he didn’t notice her wearing last night. She was barefoot and learning over the stove cooking what smelled like bacon. God Bless that woman…she knows the way to my heart. Teddy walked up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her. She seemed slightly surprised at first because she hadn’t heard his footsteps approaching but relaxed immediately as he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. She turned to him and smiled. Teddy went and grabbed a couple of plates and sat them down on the dining table as well as some forks. He went over and started to make a pot of coffee but noticed she had already had a pot going. He got out his coffee cup and filled it up the way he liked it and refilled her cup which was beside her and almost empty. She brought the plate over and split the eggs between the two, as well as toast, and bacon. He wasn’t sure what was into her this morning but it was something he liked. Teddy Hart: I don’t know what caused this occasion, but it’s something I could get used to. Kristen Mellissa: Well, I don’t know if it’s something you should get used to. I just wanted to surprise you, and to say thank you. I know that what you did last week, you did for me. Ever since I left and came back you have been different, but in a good way. Teddy Hart: Thank you, but with you just being gone a week made me see how much I really do need and want you in my life. The two go to eating their breakfast. Teddy looks up to make eye contact with Kristen and she does the same, both sharing a smile on their face. They both finish up their plates and Teddy grabs them out and heads over to the sink to begin washing them. He figured the least he could do is wash everything since she took the time to make it. Kristen didn’t leave the room though, she stood there beside him and handed them the plates as needed. Teddy Hart: I know this is going to sound weird coming from me, but I want to talk about the wedding. I know who all is coming from my side of the family, but have you decided on who you want to invite from your side of the family? Kristen’s smile that was her on face got a questionable look at Teddy’s question. All the time the wedding plans have been going on, he has wanted nothing to do with the wedding. All of a sudden he wants to know about her family coming. In her mind she is wondering if Nick could have possibly talked to Teddy at some point about their conversation and that is why he is asking. But he hasn’t asked specifically about her brother yet, so maybe it’s just a coincidence. Kristen Mellissa: For the most part yeah, there are a few people here and there I’m still deciding on if they need to be invited or not. But that is no big deal. There are other things that need to be worked on a lot more. We are coming down to the last few weeks. Teddy Hart: If there is someone you are unsure about, you know you can talk with me about it right? I’ll give you an honest opinion. If they are your family, they are soon to be my family as well. Kristen look down at the plate she had in her hand while Teddy went back to washing the dishes. Shit, it seemed like Nick did talk to him after all. Should I come clean and just talk with him about it? He still hasn’t said anything in specific, but he might as well had said it. No one else would know about this other than Nick. Maybe I should talk with him about it first and find out if he told Teddy. Why am I even having to consider this though? He is going to be my husband. Shouldn’t I be able to talk with him about this kind of stuff? Kristen Mellissa: I know, you are always there for me when I need you. I appreciate that. Kristen took a deep breath as she closed her eyes. Teddy was watching her the entire time knowing there was something weighing on her mind. He decided not to push anymore than needed because he didn’t want to cause an argument over something that he wasn’t sure of in the first place. Kristen opened her eyes and saw that he was watching her and he smiled which made her smile. For now there seemed to be a peace but both knew there was a storm brewing and it would be upon them soon.
