It’s just another day in the life of a WWE superstar. When you are on the road there are many expectations that you have to ahear to, a lot of that being media. You are constantly in one form of media or another all through out your day almost. For Jordan, he was used to the media especially after being in staring roles of movies and modeling along with being a wrester. Today was going to be one of those long days and nights. Waking up at 4am to go to get ready for the day isn’t exactly how he wanted to start his day but that is life of a star. Jordan found himself stretching out and forcing himself out of bed to take a shower to help him wake up. He got dressed and fixed his har and put on some comfortable clothes for day along with packing a gym bag of clothes so he could work out later in the day. You didn’t get to looking this good by just sitting around. Jordan made a quick call to Joey, his limo driver, before heading down to the main lobby of the hotel. It didn’t take long after reaching the main floor of the lobby that he was asked to sign autographs by fans who recognized him, mostly femals fans, which he didn’t mind. He stopped and talked with them for a few minutes, signed autographs for them, and took some piectures. Even though he plays a bad guy on TV doesn’t mean he should ignore the fans outside of the ring. He was finally able to make his way to the limo where Joey was waiting for him leanding against the limo as he always was. As Jordan reached Joey he extended his hand. Joey took it and the men shook. They had been friends for a long time now even if it was an employer and empolyee relationship. Jordan trusted Joey to get him where he needed to go in a timely manner and without incident. Joey wasn’t just a driver though, Jordan also found Joey to be someone who he didn’t mind confiding in when he needed someone to talk with. Joey took the bags from Jordan and opened up the trunk placing them in the boot. At this point Jordan wasn’t a prick and opened up his own door and got in the back seat. Joey made his away around the limo to the drivers side where he started the car. Before pulling out on the road he looked to the back at Jordan. Joey: So, where are we off to first today? Jordan Danyluk: It’s going to be one of those buys days today Joey. The first stop we have to make is the local radio station to promote the show. Then we’ll swing by the gym so I can get my work out in, then I have to go to an autograph signing at a local store for the new DVD that just came out. After that it’ll be lunch, then I have to head to the arena for the rest of the day. Joey: That sounds quite eventful. I know the radio station you were talking about and we’ll get there in no time. The limo left the parking lot of the hotel and was on the road. Just as Joey had said, it didn’t take them long to get to the local radio station. Jordan got out of the limo and shook hands with Joey once more before heading into the building. He went to the front desk to ask directions to where he was supposed to be and made his way up the station. The DJ waved him into the booth and he took a seat in a chair. The show was on commercial and they took the opportunity to speak with one another before it came back on from break. Renee Montagne: Hey you must be Jordan. Welcome to the show. How are you doing? Jordan Danyluk: I’m still trying to wake up, you’d think I’d be used to it by now, but you never really get used to being up this early. Renee Montagne: Yeah I understand that. Well we aren’t obviously going to surprise attack you with any hard questions. We are going to ask you about your role in the WWE, what match you will be in tonight and maybe a little bit about your acting and modeling as well. These are questions you probably get on a normal basis, so just be calm and real and it should go by pretty quickly and easily and we should have a good time. Jordan Danyluk: Sounds like a good plan to me. Let’s get the party started. Jordan and Renee both took their seats and put on the headphones. They prepared for the show to come back from commercial. The produced gave the signal for the show coming back on the air and Renee took breath before starting. Renee Montagne: Welcome back to KUAF 91.3! We have a guest here with us today, one I have been looking forward to meeting since I heard he was going to be in the studio all last week. We have on our show a guy who is known all around the world for his modeling, acting, and wrestling, Jordan Danyluk. Welcome to show the show Jordan! Jordan Danyluk: Thanks Renee, it’s a pleasure to be here and especially around such cute company. I must say that it’s an awesome way to start my day. Renee Montagne: Well aren’t you quite the flatter. You must be trying to get on my good side so I don’t ask you any hard questions. Well let me tell you, it’s working! So, Jordan, what brings you into town? Jordan Danyluk: Well as you said in the introduction, I am a wrestler, and tonight WWE Raw will be here tonight live. Renee Montagne: Now I understand that you go by the name JD Maverick in the ring. Should we be expecting to see you in the ring tonight and who will you be facing if so? Jordan Danyluk: Yes, you will see me in action tonight. That means I want to see all the ladies out there to bring their signs for me…I’m just kidding, but I will be wrestling against a guy who has a real talent in the ring. He has been around the business for a long time and knows what he is doing. Most people know him who watch wresting, his name is Adam Copeland, or Edge, in the ring. I promise you will see a great show between the two us. Renee Montagne: That sounds like something I will have to tune in and watch myself. You are a guy of many talents though, you also act and model I understand. Is that right? Jordan Danyluk: Yes, that’s right Renee. I have already been in a few movies and I just finished wrapping up another movie before I started wrestling again. I have also done some modeling when the calls come in. Renee Montagne: How do you manage to find the time to do all that and to stay in as such good shape as you do? You must be stretched pretty thin as far as time goes. Jordan Danyluk: Just because I don’t have the normal 9 to 5 job doesn’t mean I don’t work. I am normally up at 5am every morning doing promotions for the company, signing autographs, going to the gym, getting ready for show. There is a lot that comes with the business that most people don’t realize. I am truly blessed though to have what I do and to be able to do what I do. Renee Montagne: That’s amazing. I think of the things that shocked me the most and I’m sure all ladies who are out there listening will appreciate this, is that you are single! How in the world have you not managed to wrangle a woman yet? Jordan Danyluk: I actually havne’t been single all that long. It hasn’t been that long since I got out of a marriage. Being in the business that I am requires a lot of travel and it puts a strain on a relationship when you can’t be home to be with someone. You have to have a strong commitment and a lot of patience for each other. Sometimes you find that someone and sometimes you just think you do and find out later that it just wasn’t meant to be. But, for right now I’m just focusing in on the business. Not to say that if someone wants to go out that I won’t go out though. Renee Montagne: Careful there, you might get some of these ladies to call in and you won’t know which one to take out. I might even throw in an offer myself. Since we are on the radio and live though, how about we find out something else about you. What kind of music are you into? Jordan Danyluk: Well first off Renee, if you are offering, I’d accept. I’d love to take you out on the town and show you a good time. As far a music goes though, I’m a Top 40 type of guy. I don’t like any one particular type of music. I like to be able to listen to anything which is why the Top 40 works for me. Variety is good for the soul. If you asked me what would be my favorite song though, it would have to be Move, by Thousand Foot Krutch. They are an amazing band, and it’s actually my theme when I come down to the ring. Renee Montagne: We are about to head to commercial break in just a moment, we want to take the time to thank Jordan for visiting our studio this morning and to remind all of you wrestling fans out there and fans of Jordan to come out to WWE Raw tonight and enjoy the show. When we come back we will be playing some more music. Stay tuned! As the show goes to commercial Jordan and Renee get up out of their seats, shake hands, and give each other a hug. Renee smiled at Jordan and he returned the smile back at her. Jordan Danyluk: You know, I wasn’t kidding when I said if you wanted I’d take you out. What do you say, would you like to go out with me tonight? Renee Montagne: Hmmm, I think that would be nice. Let me see your phone and I’ll give you my number. Just give me a call after the show and maybe we can go out for a late dinner and early breakfast. Renee took the phone from Jordan and input her number. After getting the phone back Jordan gave her a hug and kiss and exited the room waving as he left. As he entered the parking lot Joey was there standing by the limo waiting once again for him. The two smiled and Jordan entered the limo and tried to get in the mindset he needed for the gym. They arrived at the gym and this time instead of waiting by the limo, Joey got out with Jordan and headed inside the gym with him. Whenever Joey had the opportunity, he always went with to the gym with Jordan to try to get a nice work out in. For Jordan it was always good to have someone else to work out with at the gym. The two were in the gym for a few hours before showering and getting changed back into the normal clothes. The next stop would be the autograph signing at Wal-Mart. The drive didn’t take long and neither did the autograph signing. It was all pretty standard, and went without a hitch. The few hours he spent at the store seemed to fly by as there was a constant stream of fans there and ready to get autographs. Finally it was time for a break and they could stop and get some lunch. One of the things Jordan like to do was take Joey out for lunch when he drove him around all day. It wasn’t something he had to do, but something he felt was a good thing to do for him since he did drive him around all day. Joey had mentioned a local restaurant in the area that he knew pretty well and the two headed there. They took their time eating lunch knowing they had a little bit of time from running early today. It wasn’t often they were finished with everything early in a day. On a normal day they were rushing to get where they were going. After lunch the duo headed down to the arena where Joey dropped off Jordan. He made his way into the arena and to his locker room. After dropping off his bags in the his locker room, Jordan headed to the area of the arena they had set up for the interviews. He was scheduled to do an interview that would air for the show later that night. He got his make-up on and had everything checked out before stepping into the scene backstage. The camera man ticked off the three count and Jordan prepared to speak. JD Maverick: Ladies, all your dreams have come true because tonight you get see me, JD Maverick on Raw. Edge for you though, it won’t be dream, more like a nightmare. Tonight you will be facing the next generation superstar, JD Maveick. That means that you will be facing the best superstar on the roster. How good does it sound when you say it out loud, The King, JD Maverick. That will be what is said after the King of the Ring tournament is said and done. All of you out there will bow to me and show me the respect I deserve! From there I will go on and become the WWE Champion. It is only a matter of time. Before I get a head of myself though, that brings me to my opponent tonight. The Rated “R” Superstar, Edge. I could probably sit here all day go through your list of accomplishments in the company, but I won’t do that because frankly I don’t care what you have accomplished. Tonight, your main accomplishment will happen. Tonight, you will lose to me, and you will be able to tell everyone that you lost to the future of the business. You will get to say that you were in the ring with the best the business has ever had and will ever have. There is a saying that says, “A true champion believes in themselves when no one else does.” In case you haven’t realized, I’m not the fan favorite of the crowd. I don’t come out here to be the fan favorite, I come out to the ring to compete and win. I don’t need anyone else believing in me and my abilities because I believe in me and my abilities. I know I am the best. Therefore, I am the best. Whoever steps inside that ring with me finds out that same fact that I already know. Tonight it’s you Edge, and over the next few weeks it will be everyone who steps in the ring with me on my way to winning the King of the Ring! You might as well get used to that fact now because soon it will be a reality. It’s not a champ is here, it’s, The King is here! At that the cameras went to black and the taping of the interview was done. Jordan stepped from camera and shook hands with all those that were apart of making it happen then headed back to his locker room. Jordan had a smile on his face at the day, it had been long but it was a good day, one that he could get used to having. There was a reason he returned to the wrestling business and this was it. When he reached his locker room he took out his phone, sent a text message to Renee about their date tonight, and sat down to start getting prepared for his match later that night.
