Part 1-Revealing Plans Raw has started with a bang, pyrotechnics going off by the stage being shown by the camera's excites the fans and brings them to their feet standing and shouting. The cameras went through the crowd finding different fans with different signs keeping the crowd electric. Finally, the cameras went to the stage. Just before Raw went on the air The King, Jerry Lawler was introduced first getting a really big pop from the crowd. Cole came out next to a slightly lower pop than Jerry but a big pop none the less. The cameras pan around the crowd again showing the fans screaming. The camera keeps panning around before locking onto Cole and King. Jerry is neatly stacking papers as the Cole is sporting a smile at the camera. Michael Cole A couple weeks have passed since Summerslam and the atmosphere in the Raw locker room has if anything grown more dense. With the next pay per view coming just around the horizon everyone is vying for their spots to get title shots. JD Maverick who returned at Raw was successful in his debut by taking out Gunner. JD Maverick was absent from Summerslam claiming that he wanted to shine and Raw was where he wanted to do it. Tonight here on Raw we are supposed to hear from JD Maverick in what will be his first interview here on WWE Raw since he left. We understand that that JD Maverick has something very important he wants to say and that it's going to impact the entire Raw roster. King Let me tell you Cole, I thought when Gunner wasn't talking with management that we were rid of all of the egotistical people around here. But, I was wrong. JD Maveick who no one had heard from since his he left came back and made a statement by taking out Gunner last week. As a result, now we have another if not more egotistical person on Raw than before. Let me tell you Cole, this guy is not shy by any means. He doesn't think he is hot, to him he knows he's hot and with all the women in the crowd shouting for him it's hard to dispute him. But you can't knock the guy because he knows how to back up what he says. I'm interested to see what he has to say that is supposed to shake up the roster. About the time that King was done speaking Rockstar came over the loud speakers. The fans now knowing who the music belongs to let out a momentous amount of boos in the direction of the ramp where JD Maverick who is dressed in designer blue jeans, expensive white tennis shoes,a white designer dress shirt, and special made white sunglasses with a star inside the lenses was standing. JD looked at both sides of the crowd with a smirk on his face before descending down the ramp in a slow walk. Girls near the guardrail try and grab onto JD's shirt but he snatches it away nonchalantly and keeps walking toward the ring. JD slowly climbs the steps and enters the ring where he poses for each side of the crowd before grabbing a microphone from Lillian. JD walks to the center of the ring to speak but waits for the fans to settle down before raising the microphone. JD Maverick Let's talk about what happened on Raw first shall we. Going into Raw everyone was wondering who would go on in the King of the Ring Tournament? What no one expected was the return of JD Maverick to the ring. I was in contact with WWE the week after Summerslam and upper management and I came to an agreement on how I should return. As you can tell by the absence of Gunner from the WWE I was successful in my return, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I mean I am the greatest new generation superstar in the WWE. Now I told everyone that tonight I was going to make an announcement that would shake up the WWER roster. And I know you have to be wondering what could I be talking about. The crowd is almost utter silence with a slight boos throughout the arena. JD Maverick did have a point in that everyone was wondering what it was that he has to say that would shake the entire Raw roster. The crowd is on their feet in anticipation of what JD Maverick is about to say. JD moves around the ring slowly. A minute or so passes as JD looks out over the crowd making them wait until he is ready to speak. Finally JD settles back in the middle of the ring and raises his microphone. JD Maverick I have always said that gold looks best on me. And here in the WWE there is always an opportunity to gain more gold than to just settle with what you have. After my debut last week I settled down in my private locker room and watched the rest of Raw and less than impressed by any and all the participants. So if you morons can't guess what is going through my mind yet let me explain it to you. I plan on winning the King of the Ring tournament and going on to winning the World Title. In fact it's in the hands of an idiot. Why no one seems to be able to beat him is just beyond me. So, I have a proposal for you, if you like ratings, then I'll give you ratings, put me in a non-title match with the champion and let me show you just how inferior he truly is. It's a win, win situation for all, you get your ratings, and I get to show you why I deserve to be champion. The crowd doesn't like JD Maverick but the idea even to them was appealing and that sent out cheers around the crowd. JD Maverick lowered the microphone knowing it would be no use to try and speak over the crowd right now and just looked around as they continued shouting boos through the crowd. JD Maverick had a sick smile on his face as he knew that wasn't all he had to say. The fans didn't show signs of shutting up so JD just walked over to turnbuckle and made a hammock of it and laid down. This caused the booing to grow louder for a few moments because of the disrespect he was showing. The fans finally started to calm down and JD returned to the middle of the ring. JD Maverick It took you idiots long enough to shut your mouths. Let me put it this way, the longer you run your mouths the longer I'm going to be out here. Now I know that entices you ladies to want to scream more but you do have to understand that I have better things to do with my time then be out here around all of you. Now, like I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, since I want a shot at the title that means that I will need to win the King of the Ring Tournament. Now the one thing that Raw is short of is top shelf talent. There aren't many who can even come close to my talent. So all I can say is be on the lookout because you never know who or what will happen when JD Maverick is on Raw. Cole King I can't believe what I just heard from JD Maverick. If management accepts this do you know the implications this could have? When JD Maverick said he had an announcement that would shake the Raw roster I wasn't sure if he was telling the truth but after hearing what he said I believe him now. Wow! Can you imagine JD Maverick taking on the current World Champion. If this takes place it could change the fabric of Raw. The balance of power would slowly begin to shift. I must admit I do like the idea myself. Though I do believe that JD Maverick may be under estimating the champion and could be in for a surprise if he doesn't take the match seriously. King I agree Cole, wow what an announcement by JD Maverick. Though it does go to show you though what I was talking about earlier about his ego. He thinks if he goes into the match, it's going to be a cake walk and he is going to come out of it with a future title shot. This is not to say that he won't win but I do believe he has more of a challenge then he expects and when he gets in the ring with the champ he'll find that out for himself. It's going to be interesting to see if the champ and management goes with this, but with this crowd reaction I wouldn't see why they wouldn't. The potential with these guys in the ring is great and I think the fans would love to see JD Maverick get what's coming to him and that is an ass whooping and not only would he lose his pride but maybe it would shut his mouth. As Cole and King are talking JD poses for the girls in the crowd before he drops the microphone to the ground and leaves the ring. JD continues his walk slowly up the the ramp as the fans are cheering loudly behind Cole and King throwing up peace signs and posing for the camera before it spans out and flows through the roaring crowd. The camera glides through the countless number of fans showing off signs and doing crazy things for the camera. Before settling on the titan tron which is showing a recap of last week’s matches and goes to a commercial break. Part 2- Interview As Raw returns from a commercial break we can see fans all around the arena on the feet screaming at the top of their lungs enjoying the show. Afterward we see the camera go to Cole and King at ring side who tell everyone at home that Josh Mathews is standing back stage awaiting the arrival of JD Maverick to talk about his match and to see if he can get any info on why JD Maverick wants to face the champion. The camera goes to the back stage area o the arena where Josh Mathews is standing in a grey suit, white under shirt, and a gray tie. Josh has a huge smile on his face and a microphone in his hands, as he gets ready to speak to the WWE Universe. As Josh turns to his left we can see JD Maverick walk up to Josh wearing a expensive white t-shirt, designer blue jeans, and white sunglasses with stars imprinted in the lenses. Josh Mathews Thank you Michael, King, I'm here with JD Maverick, who made his return to Raw last week by taking out Gunner from behind before his match with Bray Wyatt could begin. No one expected you to show up on Raw last week and make such an impact. And no one expected you to throw out a challenge to current World Champion on Raw earlier tonight. This week, management has set up a match with you against Michael Riley. This is also a King of the Ring qualifier match. What are your feelings going into this match? JD Maverick You want to know my feelings on this match? I feel like I'm being put in a match where my talents will not be able to be challenged to the fullest. You see I stand by what I said in the ring about the champion. If he wants to get in the ring with me then he will find out what true talent is all about. As far as Michael Riley goes, tonight he is going to find out why I am the next generation superstar and the future of this business and why he is nothing more than a warm up to someone like me. Tonight I will make an example of Michael Riley. Josh Mathews Well that is one way of looking at this match. But obviously there is another equation and that is Gunner. Do you think that you and Gunner will come back and try to exact revenge? There is also Bray Wyatt who you cheated out of an opportunity at a place in the King of the Ring Tournament. JD Maverick Well it seems obvious to me Josh. When Gunner got the beating that he did last week, it was enough to put him out of this business for a long time. Let’s face it, he wasn’t doing anything around here. No one even realized he existed. I made him famous by taking him out. He will always be remembered now because I was the one who ended his career. As far as Bray Wyatt goes, if he has a problem with the way I do things, then I’m not very hard to find. He is more than welcome to challenge me and find out what Gunner already has and what Michael Riley will find out tonight. You see I don't get much out of this match other than proving that I am the best in the ring and I deserve to face the champion. Tonight will just put in the tournament. From there I will go on to win. And when management realizes the talent they have on their hands, it will only be a matter of time before they give me what I want, and that is a title shot. Josh Mathews Ok, well there is one more thing that is on every ones minds. At the beginning of Raw tonight you came out and made an announcement that you want a shot at the champion. So my question for you is simple, do you think you stand a chance against the World Champion? What makes you think you deserve a chance at the World Champion? JD Maverick What makes you think that I won’t slap the taste out of your mouth for disrespecting me. You need to learn when to keep your mouth shut because next time I may not be in such a good mood. I explained earlier why I deserve a shot a champion. It doesn’t bare repeating. All I can say is tick tock, the clock is running. It’s only a matter of time before I do get my shot. And what I want you to know and everyone else to know is to keep their eyes open because you never know what could happen when JD Maverick is on Raw. You see what makes me so good is being unpredictable. I do things the way I want to do to them, not the way people think I will, or want me to. So to finish this interview I just have one thing left to say, to all the ladies I know you love me, to all the guys I know you want to be me, but the truest thing is gold looks best on me. And when I'm threw I will have all the gold around me. JD Maverick pushes Josh out of the way while the camera closes in on him. He sports a smile on his face and takes off his glasses to show his eyes into the camera. You can feel the confidence oozing off of him. The camera’s fade out as Raw goes to a commercial break.
