Dim lights hang from the ceiling above giving little light into the small bar. The music is so low it can barely be heard. Thirteen barstools line the bar with thirteen booths throughout the bar. Thirteen ceiling fans hang and they barely turn giving the room just enough air to be comfortable. When sitting at the middle of the bar you can see the doorway leads to a small kitchen in the back. The man behind the bar was of average height, middle aged, bald, and wore a white apron that showed the stains of a man who did a decent amount of cooking, and wore a name tag that simply read “Mac.” Sitting in the middle barstool was James Storm dressed in a pair of blue jeans, black cowboy boots, a black sleeveless t-shirt, and a black cowboy hat. Mac sat a cold beer on the bar in front of James Storm who seemed to be doing some hard thinking.
Mac: You seem to be doing some real hard thinking there son. Tell me, whatcha got on your mind.
James Storm: I’m surprised you don’t know who I am. Well, maybe I shouldn’t be after looking at this bar here. Don’t take that in a bad way though. Sometimes staying out of the world of television is the best thing. When you get caught up in the world and all that is going wrong with it you forget to enjoy the life you are living.
Mac: Well, I must say that has to be one of the deepest things I have ever heard said here in this little bar. The problems I hear about deal with girl friends, wives, or work for the most part. You still haven’t told me your problem though.
James Storm: To be truthful Mac, I don’t know if I have a problem. I just needed a place to go where I felt like I was at home. Being on the road pretty much every day of the year you start to find little places like there where ever you go that remind you of home.
Mac: Well son, I can’t say that I have ever had that problem. I was born in this little town, raised in this little town, and well as you can see I’m still in this little town. I don’t know much about getting homesick but I do love this little town and couldn’t imagine my life anywhere else. So why don’t you tell me what you do that keeps you on the road so much?
James Storm: Well, I work for a company called WWE:R. I’m a professional wrestler. I’m a member of a tag team called America’s Most Wanted and we are currently the Undisputed Tag Team Championis.
Mac: Oh yeah, I have heard of that professional wrestling. I used to watch it quite awhile back when I was kid. Of course I’m sure it has changed a lot since then.
James Storm: Yeah, it has changed a lot over the years. I forget what state we are even in most of the time because we travel so much.
Mac: You mention something about you having a partner. I am assuming you two must be somewhat of friends to have to be around each other so much. Where is he tonight?
James Storm: He is probably out shopping. On paper you would consider us complete opposites. As you can tell I am more country and he, well he is Italian, let’s just say that. He will probably be coming in here soon enough. I will say this for him though, he loves to drink and fight, and that is what allows us to be friends.
About the time James Storm finished talking about Shane he walked inside the bar wearing a sleeveless black vest with no shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a pair of black Aviator sunglasses. Shane walked up beside James and took a seat at the bar and looked at Mac and gave him a nod before taking off his sunglasses and closing them and letting them rest on his vest. Mac reached under the bar and grabbed a cold beer and popped the top and set the beer down in front of Shane Anzalone.
Shane Anzalone: Talking about me again huh James. I know, I’m just one of those people who are hard not to talk about.
James Storm: Shane, get over your self would you. How did you find me here?
Shane Anzalone: Why don’t you try asking me a hard question? In every town we go to the first thing you do is find a small bar and have a drink. It wasn’t that hard for me to find a small bar in this little town. But that isn’t why I came here. I actually got a call from Kristen. She said that there has been a change to our match this week. The Motor City Machine Guns both quit after they saw they were facing us. Management put The Miz and Melina Perez in their place to face us.
James Storm: Are you serious? I knew those two were a bunch of pussies but I didn’t think that they would quit because they had to face us. Hell I at least thought they would take their ass whipin like men. Damn, that is just a shame. Oh well, we went from having a match against two people who were at least knew how to team together to The Miz and Melina? The Miz and Melina? I just don’t see it. Those two fit together about as well as a democrat and a republican. Well, so much for having a decent match.
Shane Anzalone: I know what you mean. We are just going to have to figure out something to do to get some action coming our way. I’m getting bored as well. All these “teams” as management has been calling them hasn’t even been a challenge for us. We have barely broke a sweat since we won the titles. If it weren’t for the money we have to be able to buy things to keep us entertained I wouldn’t know what to do.
James Storm: You know what Shane, you just gave me an idea. We want competition in the ring but everyone is afraid to face us. We just need to give them a reason to face us other than maybe getting a chance at the titles if they win. How about we take $100,000 and make an announcement that any team who can beat us in the ring will get that $100,000? That should bring teams out of the woodworks and make them want to face us.
Shane Anzalone: That isn’t a bad idea if I say so myself. I’m kind of bummed that I didn’t come up with it myself. We should make the announcement after our match this week when we get done whipping the ring of The Miz and Melina.
James Storm: Well I guess we should go ahead and leave here. Mellissa is going to want to talk with us about the match. I’m willing to put money down that was the other half of the reason you came in here.
Shane Anzalone: How did you ever guess that? Mellissa wants to go over a plan for the match now that it has changed. And you know how she gets if we don’t have a plan going into a match.
James Storm: Well Mac, I guess it’s time I get back on the road again and get back to arena so I can talk with our manager about our new match. It was nice talking with you. Thank you for listening to me. Be sure to at least tune in one night to watch me wrestle.
James Storm and Shane Anzalone both stood up from the bar. James puts a hundred dollar bill on the counter. Mac gives him a smile as he picks up the bill and starts to whip down the counter with a white rag. James and Shane exit the bar and head back to the arena.
