Teddy hart 05-28-2013

A loud crashing sound of breaking glass can be heard in a hotel room as a lamp breaks against the wall. Pieces fall to the floor all at once. A frustrated and angry Teddy Hart falls by the edge of his bed letting his head fall back on the softness of the bed. Closing his eyes, he tries to take some deep breaths to calm down. Kristen who had been standing against the far wall walked over to the bed, leaning over and kissing Teddy on the forehead. He opened his eyes for a moment to see hers staring back at him but still couldn’t bring a smile to his face. Teddy Hart ~ Why did I have to let those fans get into my head? I just know it was because I let them get to me. That is the reason I lost on Raw! When I was out there doing my own thing and not caring about what they thought I was winning and the first time I even budge look where it gets me! Teddy closes his eyes again and puts his hands on both sides of his head rubbing his temple to work out the imaginary migraine he was having. Kristen climbed onto the bed and lifted his head up gently. Teddy opened his eyes and turned to look at Kristen. She scooted to the back of the bed as Teddy rose up and joined her on the bed laying down letting his head relax in her lap. After both were comfortable, Kristen began to rub his shoulders and head. Kristen Mellissa ~ I know what you want to hear. I wouldn’t be a good girlfriend or manager though if I just told you want you want to hear instead of telling you what you need to hear. I’m going to tell you the truth because I love you and I care about you. The truth of the matter is this, you did let them get to you but that wasn’t the reason you lost the match. You didn’t lose the match because you weren’t good enough. You lost the match because you were in a tag team match with someone who wasn’t focused on what he was doing. Helms was more worried about his friends over in Project Mayhem than he was about the match he had. Kristen continued to massage Teddy’s shoulders as she was speaking and he opened his eyes to look up at her. He couldn’t help but slightly smile at her. She always knew how to make him feel better. She didn’t have to lie or tell him what he wanted to hear, she could just speak the truth and that made him feel better than anything else. Every time something like this came around it only reaffirmed just why he fell in love with her the first time and why his love for her has only grown since that day. Teddy Hart ~ Why do you always have to be the voice of reason huh? I can’t seem to stay mad very long when you are around. And of course you have to right when you tell me something. Have I told you just how annoying that is and how much I love you for it? This time the smile on Teddy’s face was wide spread as well as on Kristen’s face. She started to laugh which was contagious and made Teddy laugh as well. She shook her head and tried to catch her breath but as she looked down at him and his goofy smile, she couldn’t help but to start laughing once again. Kristen Mellissa ~ You better! I hate seeing you angry, at least outside of the ring. We should get out of this hotel room. Although it’s nice, I think we could use some fresh air, well at least I can use some fresh air and I want you to come with me. What do you say? Teddy never takes his eyes off Kristen as she is speaking. When the mention of going out to catch some air comes along Teddy’s ears almost perk up. There had been something very important going through is mind that he wanted to ask Kristen but he wanted it to be perfect for her because she deserved nothing less. When she finished talking, Kristen raised her eyebrow and he realized he was just staring at her and she was waiting for an answer. Teddy Hart ~ I think that sounds like a great idea. Why don’t you head down to the lobby while I change real quick. I’ll be down to meet you in just a minute. Kristen nodded, picked up her pocketbook off the table, then opened the door and walked out, closing it behind her. After Kristen had closed the door Teddy sat up on the bed and got changed into something more accommodating for the weather. Once he was changed, he put his suitcase on the bed, opened it up, and grabbed a little square box that was hidden inside one of the pairs of pants inside. From a force of habit, Teddy opened the box to look at the ring on the inside. Taking a deep breath, he closed the box, put the box in his front pocket, and headed toward the door. Kristen was waiting near front doors of the hotel when the elevator with Teddy opened up. She saw him, smiled, and waved. He saw her and returned the favor as he walked up to her. When he reached Kristen he wrapped her in his arms and gave her a kiss on the lips. Releasing from the kiss the let his hand slide down her arm and held her hand as they began to walk out of the hotel. The couple walked out and started walking not sure where they were going to end up. Kristen Mellissa ~ You have seem distracted as of late. I don’t mean in the ring either. It’s been a few weeks and when we are together you have seemed nervous or different. I just can’t put my finger on what it is. Are you okay? As they continue to walk Teddy looks over at Kristen and began to wonder if she was suspicious of what he wanted to do. He thought he had been hiding it pretty well, but he should have known better that she would notice any minor change in him. She was always very aware of everything. He tried to show that his heart wasn’t racing and he had Teddy Hart ~ I don’t know what you are talking about. I am just fine. I mean I was frustrated about losing that match last week but you helped me out with that. The only thing on my mind now is how beautiful you look right now and having this walk with you. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my day than something like this with you. Kristen and Teddy continue to walk eventually ending up walking to the middle of a small bridge overlooking some water. The sun was beginning to set which made the landscape look beautiful. Teddy looked over to Kristen who was looking out toward the sunset taking in the scenery and was beginning to think that this was the perfect time for what he wanted to do. Teddy was about to speak when Kristen interrupted him before he could speak. Kristen Mellissa ~ You know, today with you has been great, granted you did have a minor breakdown. I just love that you and I can work together and be together all the time. It’s giving us the time we need to get to know each other more. In this moment Teddy saw his moment and went to speak to say something to Kristen but was cut off once more. He was about to say it anyway, but then he began to hear what was coming out of her mouth. Kristen Mellissa ~ is a good thing for you and I that we aren’t trying to rush anything between us. I mean right now we are doing the right thing focusing on the career. We are both young and have plenty of time for other things. Teddy’s heart sank in that moment and his hand went from his pocket where the box was to the railing of the bridge. His once happy demeanor had now turned slightly somber. He couldn’t let her see this though so when she looked his way he smiled even though his thoughts were a long way from what she was saying. He was now thinking of how long would he have to wait before she was ready and her not knowing that at this moment he was ready to ask her to marry him. With resolve in his heart he steadied himself that when the time was right he was going to ask her and it didn’t matter if that day were tomorrow or five years from now. The couple continued their this time back toward the hotel as the sun was nearly set and darkness began to set upon the city behind them.
